“Company” or “we”: Fortix (Fortix for Networks and Information S.A.E), an Egyptian company registered under commercial register number 282284, with its registered address at Mokattam, Cairo, Egypt.

“Website”: the Fortix services shop available at https://fortix.eg. “Customer” or “you”: any natural or legal person who uses the website or requests a service through it. “Service”: any technology service offered on the website.

By using the website, submitting an order or completing a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and to the privacy and refund policies that supplement them.

Scope of services

Fortix provides information technology services to businesses and individuals in the Arab Republic of Egypt. These include cloud servers, website and domain hosting, network installation and maintenance, NVR surveillance systems, VPN solutions, UPS power solutions, WhatsApp Business API subscriptions, website and application development, ERP systems and cybersecurity.

Each service is described on its own website page. Descriptions and features are indicative. The final scope of complex services, such as software development and ERP systems, is defined in the quote or written agreement between the parties.

Orders and contract formation

Customers can order and pay for fixed-price services directly at checkout, or request a quote for custom-priced services through the request form. Submitting an order constitutes an offer by the customer. The contract is formed when the company confirms the order by message or email, or when payment succeeds, whichever occurs first.

Customers must provide accurate information: their name and a valid Egyptian phone number, plus email and company name if they choose to include them. The company may reject or cancel an order, with a full refund of any amounts paid, if it cannot be fulfilled technically, is suspected of being intended for an unlawful purpose, or contains inaccurate information.

Every order receives a reference beginning with FX-, which must be used in all correspondence, support requests and refund requests.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Egyptian pounds (EGP). Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise. The price displayed at checkout when the order is confirmed is binding. The company may change listed service prices at any time without affecting confirmed orders.

Electronic payments are processed through Paymob, licensed by the Central Bank of Egypt. Bank cards (Visa / Mastercard / Meeza) and mobile wallets are accepted. Payment details are entered only on the gateway's secure pages. We do not receive or store card numbers or confidential card details on our servers in any form.

After payment, the customer receives confirmation with the order reference. An order is considered paid after the gateway confirms the transaction. If electronic payment cannot be completed, the order is recorded as “awaiting payment” and we send the customer a payment link during business hours. Other payment methods, such as bank transfer or payment upon implementation, are also available for custom-priced services by agreement.

Delivery and implementation

Subscriptions (servers, hosting, domains, VPN, WhatsApp API, maintenance contracts and vehicle tracking) begin on the activation date communicated to the customer. Activation usually takes place within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Subscriptions are renewed at the customer's request and are not renewed automatically without consent.

Installation and setup services (networks, NVR systems, UPS and data centre relocation) are scheduled after a site assessment. Stated implementation periods are estimates and may be affected by site readiness and equipment availability. Development projects follow the delivery plan and milestones documented in the quote.

The customer must provide what is needed for implementation, including site or system access, permissions and required information. Timelines are extended by the duration of any customer-side delay.

Cancellation and refunds

Customers may cancel before implementation or activation begins and receive a full refund. Once work begins, cancellation and refund requests are governed by the refund and exchange policy published on the website, which forms an integral part of these terms.

Electronic payments are refunded to the original payment method through Paymob within 5–14 business days, depending on the bank or wallet provider.

Customer obligations

Customers must use the services in accordance with applicable Egyptian laws and must not use them for unlawful activities, activities contrary to public morals, or activities that infringe others' rights. This includes sending unsolicited messages, hosting prohibited content or attempting to breach third-party systems.

Customers are responsible for keeping their system and account credentials confidential, for all activity conducted through them, and for retaining copies of their data unless backup is explicitly included in the contracted service.

The company may temporarily suspend or terminate a service following a serious breach of these obligations after notifying the customer, without prejudice to its right to claim compensation for damages.

Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the website, its content, the Fortix brand, its tools and methodologies remain the company's property. Website content may not be copied or republished without prior written permission.

For custom development projects, ownership of the agreed final deliverables transfers to the customer after all amounts due have been paid. The company retains the right to use general components, libraries and internal tools in other projects. Third-party software and service licences remain subject to their owners' terms.

Limitation of liability

The company exercises reasonable professional care in providing its services, but does not guarantee that any technology service will be entirely free from interruptions or errors. It is not liable for failures caused by third parties, such as internet, electricity or external cloud service providers, or by force majeure.

In all cases, the company's total liability to the customer for an order shall not exceed the amount the customer paid for that order, and shall not include indirect damage or loss of profits or data.

Governing law

These terms and all matters arising from them are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute not resolved amicably within 30 days of notifying the other party. The company may update these terms at any time; the version published on the website applies to orders placed after its publication date.
